These are tumultous times. The politics junkie part of me has found June fascinating, while the expat part of me is thinking extra hard about what makes Home. The sun-loving part of me is getting grumpy with London’s frankly crap summer weather, while the London-loving part of me is excited about all of the summer fun that still lies ahead. Overall, I’m focusing on the positive, including all of the fun I had in June, from Royal celebrations to my favourite festival, Glastonbury. And there’s plenty more to come in July!
The super-cute Little Feast street food market – post coming soon!
Rebecca, Katie, Emma and I celebrating my flatmate Dan’s birthday with a mini brewery crawl down Bermondsey’s Beer Mile
Netil Market, another of my favourite pocket-sized street food markets
An epic day out in Cambridge with friends culminating in punting past the Bridge of Sighs

Favourite posts this month:
- Keukenhof’s Tulip Gardens: I loved this riot of colour and gorgeous blooms in the Netherlands – it was worth the trip for this alone!
- Two Amazing Weeks in Vietnam: it was so fun to revisit my trip from a few years ago to one of my all-time favourite countries.
- Past & Present Glories at Fountains Abbey, York: the beauty of Fountains Abbey blew me away – a stunning natural setting combined with gorgeous ruins is just incredible!
So what does July hold? Well, given my moaning about the weather I’m taking matters into hand and booking a sunny escape… can you guess where I might be jetting off too? For real-time updates follow me on Snapchat – I’m “jessinz”
