Early morning run along the canal near King’s Cross… feeling like I’m deep in the countryside!
Work work work work work work… Rihanna has summed up about 90% of my activities in September. Runaway Kiwi elegantly queried Can a dream job still be a pain in the arse?, to which I would answer emphatically yes. I love the new job I started back in February this year, but the hours have gone into overdrive recently, hence a bit of silence around here. But hey! I still got outside and ate some good stuff… and I’m counting the days (hours, minutes) until the start of November when I get to explore Cuba and Mexico. In the meantime, here’s what I managed to squeeze into September outside my office.
Half marathon training isn’t too bad when it’s with your buddies, in this weather and involves runs past so many icons
Gingerline smashed it again with their latest amazing immersive dining experience, Chambers of Flavour v2
I escaped London (and nearly didn’t return) to climb Mt Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales
My awesome girl gang of hikers… and this photo cracks me up because thanks to a train up, the summit is seriously crowded!
The next day we explored the amazing Caernarfon Castle, also in north Wales
A morning run in my new hood of Clissold Park – a good replacement for St James!
A squiffy picnic with these lovely ladies at Cahoots was just the ticket!

I kicked off October in Glasgow for the half-marathon – it was an amazingly beautiful weekend, which you can check out on my Instagram. If I make it out of the office I’ll make sure to commemorate the occasion there as well!
What does October hold for you? Hopefully not quite so much work!
