My November run route is looking a little different to previous years…
This may be one of my shortest Snapshots ever – the November weekends were rainy and work has been non-stop. But the few pics I do have are from very fun times, be that drinking cocktails and wine in the sun or a beach walk to clear the head. I’m hoping for a few more of the latter to get me through the crazy festive season!
Most popular Instagram this month:
Can’t argue with sunrise at Takapuna!
Rosé in the sunshine at Ponsonby’s Urban Wine Walk – a fancy bar crawl!
My favourite spot for inner-city calm, in the shadow of the Sky Tower
A sunset sky so beautiful I can hardly believe it was real!
Getting very excited about an interactive cocktail with Stacey at the new Glasshouse in Morningside
Waiting to enter Pharos, Childish Gambino’s incredible festival dome, under the full moon
So many gorgeous houses in Devonport – I love this wild beautiful garden!
Erm, so, Christmas huh?! I’ve been stunned to find that summer and Christmas no longer go together in my mind – seems like I’d finally acclimatised to a cold December! But I’m slowly getting into the festive spirit… or more honestly, not-so-slowly getting more excited for the three weeks on holiday, as my company shuts down until mid-way through January (like many firms in New Zealand). But before then I’ve got my birthday treat, a weekend away at the beach in Raglan, to look forward to – and plenty more beach walks!
And make sure to check out my Instagram, where (inspired by Expat Edna) I’ll be recapping my year of travels at #my2018alphabet. I’m excited to share new pictures of my adventures… and to work out what on earth I’m going to post for Q and X!
Is your December sunny or snowy – or somewhere in between? Can you imagine Christmas the other way around?
