March was a weird month. The tragedy of the Christchurch terror attacks rightly dominated much of my brainspace, with most of what was left over taken up with a very busy time at work. I didn’t take many snaps, but I did treasure my opportunities to get outside and to soak up some brilliant music – let’s face it, any week you get to see the Arctic Monkeys and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers two days apart, is pretty special!
I adore all of the Arctic Monkeys’ music (except for their last album) – jumping around to Brianstorm was a highlight!
And the legends that are the Chilli Peppers put on one hell of a show!
A gorgeous sunrise in the City of Sails
Brunch at Wellington’s legendary Scorch-o-Rama made for an excellent start to our weekend away
You can’t beat Wellington on a good day!
Shapeshifter closed out an epic Homegrown Festival – the Kiwi-music-only festival that finishes the summer season in NZ with a bang
Perks to being an early-riser!
I only posted once in March… yep it was a busy one. But it was a post about one of my favourite experiences of a European summer – Exploring Croatia with Medsailors... featuring dolphins!
April is already flying by, but we’ve got Easter to look forward to – bring on the short weeks!
And (doh!) I’ve just realised that I missed posting about my SIX YEAR BLOG ANNIVERSARY! The blog may not occupy all my waking hours and brain-space, but I do love my little corner of the internet, and I’m proud I have kept sharing my favourite travel memories and adventures for this long. To many more!
What does April hold for you? Are you cosying up for autumn or getting excited for spring sunshine?
