How funny these crazy posing goaties are – always love visiting the farm!
Oh hai friends! Time to emerge from another work maelstrom of craziness and back into the blogging world. I love this time of year in New Zealand – summer is just around the corner, Christmas is coming, and there’s lots of adventure planning and fun! We had lots of lovely visitors from Joe’s side of the family too, making it just about the perfect lead in to the holiday season.
My first parkrun since the UK – love these free social runs and Hobsonville Point is a very pretty spot
After work walks on the beach are truly the one
Glow @Artweek – Devonport’s sustainable light festival as part of Auckland’s arts week
A bunch of very excited All Blacks supporters – the week before we were knocked out of the Rugby World Cup
I bought a paddleboard! Very excited for some SUP adventures this summer
We had a glorious extra long Labour Weekend away in Noosa, Australia. I’ve never been before and now I can see why people rave so much – the sunshine and beach were beautiful <3
Exploring the ginormous Eumundi market
Beautiful Tea Tree Bay in Noosa National Park
Another stunning commuter sunrise over Auckland
Still always love my beach – Takapuna
Kicking off summer with an epic Shapeshifter gig at the Powerstation
Very few photos taken at a very excellent joint birthday celebration at one of my favourite beer gardens
And then I was in Christchurch! Working very hard for two weeks didn’t leave a lot of time but I did try to get out most mornings, and fit in some catch-ups too…
Like the wonderful time spent with these two stars
Christchurch has suffered a tremendous amount in the past eight years and I loved the vibrancy and spirit around town
Before I got lost in work, I wrote about our awesome New Year’s trip with day-trips to gorgeous Kerikeri and historic Russell. These beautiful spots in the Bay of Islands are popular for a reason!
And now we’re careering headlong into Christmas and (for this side of the world) summer! I feel like I haven’t really been able to catch my breath, so I’m looking forward to doing that over my long three-week break. And fitting in a lot of beach time too!
What do you have planned for the festive season?
