It’s now two years since I arrived back home in New Zealand. I’m in my first job, second flat, and third pair of running shoes. As a global pandemic rages, I’m happier than ever with the decision to move back to this beautiful peaceful corner of the world.

I love to look back on my year of adventures and remember the many awesome times I’ve had. While my travels in 2019 have generally been closer to home, our epic return to London and Glastonbury was a notable exception! Expat to Repat: One Year Home
A year ago, I boarded a plane at Heathrow with eyes filled with tears. Tears of sadness that I was leaving a life I loved, and tears of happiness that I was returning home, to a life I hoped would be even better.
