Love a ferry commute on a morning like this!
I do love September in New Zealand – spotting the signs that spring is truly here and planning lots of fun summer adventures to come. This September I also flew to Wellington to surprise a lovely friend, went to my first #NZbloggers brunch and (of course) fit in some relaxing beach walks.
Never get tired of beautiful Takapuna beach
Finally checked out whether Sugar Cafe at the Chelsea Sugar refinery was worth the hype…
And it totally was! Gorgeous and delicious brunch
Laughed til we cried at the Blind Date Project, an improv theatre show with a working bar!
Who can resist a photo of those boat sheds, especially when Wellington is looking this beautiful!?
More maritime action – seriously Wellington, you’ll make me think you’re always like this!
And getting my culture in – how pretty is the Parliamentary Library?!
It’s not all brunching – I also tried a beer flight!
But brunch is definitely my first love and this delicious plate from Bread and Butter in Grey Lynn was truly outstanding – and I loved meeting so many of my fellow #NZbloggers! Thanks to Georgie for keeping on reminding me 🙂
I know it’s spring when the cute little goat kids start arriving at my parents’ farm <3
This month I posted about one of my favourite escapes from Auckland: Surf’s Up in Raglan! I love the relaxed vibes and beautiful beaches of this surf town.
Let’s pretend it’s not a cliché for me to say, how on earth is it October already? This is a super exciting month with Joe’s birthday, meeting his niece for the first time, and a trip to Noosa in Australia for a long weekend. I’ve never been before and I’m looking forward to beach walks, swimming, and relaxing by the pool! Any Noosa tips out there for me?
